Meet the Founder and Principal Consultant

Miguel Jiménez is a bilingual executive consultant with more than 30 years of leadership experience in the financial services, regulatory compliance, and international operations sectors. Throughout his career, he has led strategic, operational, and regulatory initiatives across the United States, Mexico, and Latin America, working with institutions ranging from fintech startups to multinational corporations.

He is the founder of FlexLead Solutions LLC, a consulting firm based in Houston, TX, specializing in supporting small and medium-sized businesses, financial institutions, and fintech companies to grow, scale, optimize operations, and ensure both financial discipline and regulatory compliance.

Building on FlexLead’s success within the U.S. Hispanic business community, Miguel expanded his vision to the region and founded ScalaPyME, a firm based in Mexico dedicated to directly serving the needs of small and medium-sized businesses across Mexico and Latin America. ScalaPyME provides practical consulting, training programs, and professional competency certifications endorsed by the Mexican Ministry of Education (SEP).

Before founding FlexLead Solutions and ScalaPyME, Miguel held senior executive roles in cross-border payment companies, managing global banking relationships, regulatory compliance, and multicultural operational teams. His hands-on leadership style and deep knowledge of international markets enable him to quickly identify areas of opportunity and implement clear, effective, and results-oriented solutions.

Miguel holds the CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) designation and is accredited as a consultant under the ISO 20700 standard, combining international regulatory expertise with structured consulting methodologies. He also holds a Project Management certification, a Six Sigma Green Belt, and executive training in negotiation, corporate finance, and business transformation.

He earned his degree as a Certified Public Accountant from UNAM and completed a Diploma in Corporate Finance at ITAM. In addition, he is an active member of the Institute of Management Consultants USA (IMC USA), reinforcing his commitment to professional ethics and continuous improvement, while applying global consulting standards to support his clients’ success.
